Maria A. Witkowicz, 72 of Lincoln, died December 25, 2025. Maria was born in Lincoln in 1953 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and two nephews. Maria is survived by her brother, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 2, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lincoln, preceded by Rosary at 10 a.m. Memorials in Maria's memory can be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church. My sincere condolences to Maria's family.
I had only known Maria for a short time after she moved into Legacy Estates, but it was a very pleasant experience. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was just fun to be around. We at the Estates will surely miss her.
