Marian was born on April 28, 1931, in Flint, Michigan to Daisy Johnson (née McCormick). On May 4, 1957, she married Richard “Dick” Belson, and together they celebrated 62 years of marriage until his passing in 2019. They shared countless memories while raising their three children. Her home was filled with love and the aroma of her homemade cookies and bread. Marian was selfless and always put others first. Further, she was a faithful member of the Otisville Church of Christ. Above all, Marian loved her family and the time she spent with them. She will be deeply missed.
Marian is forever loved by her children: Greg (Tammy) Belson, Kathy Belson, Ann (Ken) Auernhammer; grandchildren: Jessica (Aaron) Sackman, Adam (Katy) Belson, Tyler (Elizabeth) Auernhammer, Kylie Auernhammer, and Seth Corba; great-grandchildren: Jordan Sackman, Audrianna Belson, Gwyneth Belson, and Scott Sawvel.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dick Belson; mother, Daisy Johnson; and sister, Lillie MacKenzie.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
