Marian Louise Braun

Marian Louise (Reeser) Braun, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20th, 2023, at Elm Terrace Gardens, Lansdale. She is predeceased by her husband and love of her life Richard Lee Braun who passed July 1st, 2010. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Stella (Kirlin) Reeser. Marian graduated from Northeast Junior High School and Reading Senior High School, where she enjoyed many activities and met valued lifelong friends. She was employed as a secretary at Springless Shades, Inc., Reading, and later at Covenant Home Care, Exeter, for many years until her retirement in 2004. Marian was a member of St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church. She and Richard took numerous trips with family and friends and were always open to new adventures. Marian volunteered with her children's activities over the years. She is survived by three children: Jeffrey R., husband of Brenda L. Braun, Lansdale; Barry M., husband of Catherine A., Chesterfield, VA; and Diane L., widow of James Barone, Chesterfield, MO. Other survivors include nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was an awesome and loving mom and grandmother. Marion was predeceased by four siblings: Robert; Carl; Doris; and Annabelle (Weinhold). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, at 11:30 AM, at Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be one hour prior to the Mass from 9 AM to 11 AM at Stitzel Family Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605.
