Marian and Ilene handled accounting for the business. Earl and Marian assumed sole ownership in 1973. She continued to work until retiring in 1988.

Marian indulged her love of geography by traveling throughout the years. The trips she planned were always educational focusing on natural attractions and historical sites. She and Earl enjoyed hosting friends and family from all over the world.
