MARIAN JURCZYK

NORTHBROOK - Marian Jurczyk, 95, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021. She was born on May 24, 1926, in Chicago, IL, to Sam and Josephine Gerambia. She worked at TMI as a secretary (or fondly referred to as office mom) and then at Allstate Insurance as a cashier. Marian has been retired for many years which allowed her to do the things that really meant the most to her. She loved to travel and golf with her beloved Wally; play Dominos and Rummikub with her family and friends, but most of all her favorite pastime was cooking and baking her wonderful Italian delights for all to enjoy. Marian is survived by her loving son, Sam (Lorri) Jurczyk; son-in-law, Jeffrey Magadanz; grandchildren, Adam (Vanessa) Jurczyk, Bryan (Kasey) Jurczyk, Carissa (Todd Bohacik); great grandchildren, Lily, Sam, Trinity, Bryan, Faith, Zoey, Millee Jo, and coming soon, Kanyon; her devoted niece, Laura Mosier; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Wally; loving son, Frank; and her siblings. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18, from 4 PM until 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am, Thursday, August 19, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington. There will be visitation from 9:30am until the time of the mass.
