Marian MOSEMAN Obituary

November 11, 1931 - November 9, 2024

Spokane Valley - Marian Nadine Bruce Moseman was born in her parents' home on November 11th, 1931, in Scribner, NE. She was baptized in the home on Christmas Day 1931. Marian passed away peacefully in her home on November 9th, 2024, surrounded by her children.

Marian graduated from Pender High School in Pender, NE, in 1949.

In 1951, she married Walt Moseman Jr. They lived in Hollywood, CA, until Walt left for Europe with the Air Force. They made their home in California. To Marian and Walt three children were born– Kevin Walter, Connie Lynn, and Renee Marie.

From California they moved to Las Vegas, NV, and lastly to Spokane Valley, WA.

In her adult life, she was the president of Emblem Clerk in Covina, CA, managed a school cafeteria, had her own catering service, and became a Broker/Saleswoman in Real Estate.

She was very active in her church and the time of her passing was an active member of Advent Lutheran in Spokane Valley.

Marian is survived by her son, Kevin; daughter, Renee; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Also, her brother, Rodney; sisters-in-law, Shirley Bruce, Naomi Bruce, and Francie Moseman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walt; her daughter, Connie; her parents and parents-in-law; a brother; a son-in-law; and a brother-in-law.

She will be inurned in Las Vegas, NV, in the prayer garden of Christ Lutheran Church. Marian and Walt spearheaded in the creation of the garden and its care while they lived in Las Vegas.

There will be a service for Marian at Advent Lutheran Church, 13009 E. Broadway Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99216, on December 7th, at 1:00pm.

My favorite memory with my Gg is moving from Vegas to Spokane with just my twin brother. Everything she taught me growing up to be who I am today.
