Marian A. Nagel, 101, of Traer, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Sunrise Hill Care and Rehab Center in Traer. A graveside inurnment will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 2:30 PM at the Buckingham Cemetery in rural Traer. Marian Argyl Nagel was born on June 20, 1921, in rural Adair County, Iowa, and grew up in Anita, Iowa. In 1939, she married Jack Nagel of Stuart, Iowa, where they lived until moving to Traer in 1946. They owned and operated Nagel Radio and TV for 30 years. After they retired, they spent eight winters in Florida. They loved to play golf; each having the joy of getting two Holes-In-One.
She is survived by her two children Steve (Marie) Nagel of Altoona, Iowa, and Jackie (Ray) Westbrook of Redding CA; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; dear friend, Kathy Sivertsen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; son Jon Nagle; grandson; Jeffery Nagel.
