Marian R. Swed, 92, of Compton, IL passed away on January 21, 2023. Marian was born on August 26, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Margaret (Greco) Carbonaro.
Marian was a long time resident of West Chicago, before moving to Sycamore, IL and then ultimately spending the last few years living in Compton, IL. She liked doing puzzles and gardening. She played piano her whole life and played at her church. She enjoyed reading the word of God. She also loved spending time with her family. Marian was a typical Italian woman!
Marian is survived by her children, David (Marlene) of Austin, TX, Dan of Compton, IL, Steve (Loretta) of Paw Paw, IL, Leonard of Cape Coral, FL and Timothy (Linda) of Compton, IL; Grandchildren, Phillip (Julie), Thomas (Julie), Anthony (Lisa), Nicholas (Haruna) Swed, Tiffany (Mark) Procyk, Jonathan (Anlyn) Carbonaro, Jason (Kymberly) Swed, Christopher (Madison), Matthew Swed, Andrew (Chelsea), Sarah Swed, Brielle (Tyler) Stauffer, Carissa (Caleb) Becker and Kirsten Swed; Great grandchildren, Nathan, Molly, Samuel, Jacob, Caden, Jordan, Emma, Luke, Wyatt, Lucy, Ruby, Zachary, Wynter, Mackenie, Lucy, Jack, Adalyn, Ila, Lola, Jubilee, Dietrich, Micah, Karley, Brayden and 1 more on the way.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband who she had enjoyed 61 wonderful years with before his passing, Leonard Swed; And a sister, Dolores Rasche.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home, 704 N. 6th Street, Rochelle, IL 61068. A funeral service will be held next day, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow out to Lake Street Memorial Park Cemetery, 30W730 US-20, Elgin, IL 60120. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home.
