Marian Zeman Obituary

The former Marian Holschbach was born on February 8, 1923, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Alphonse and Mary (Svatek) Holschbach. She attended the Rockwood High School. On May 5, 1943, Marian married Floyd Zeman at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Manitowoc, he preceded her in death on January 24, 2014. The couple farmed in the Town of Franklin for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville and its Rosary Society, WFLA Lodge #20 of Whitelaw, and the Chilton Steam Antique Engine Club.
Survivors include her six children: Mary (Kent) Bleser, Eagle River, AK, Floyd (Ann) Zeman Jr., Whitelaw, Suzanne (Lawrence) Shimon, Manitowoc, Sandra (Richard) Parkinson, Lexington, KY, Randall (Carol) Zeman, Cato, and Joseph (Kathy) Zeman, Franklin; ten grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters-in-law: Norbert (Norma) Holschbach, Belgium, and Mary Holschbach, Kiel; two sisters: Joan Krueger, MI and Pat Becker, Mishicot; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Alphonse and Mary Holschbach; her husband Floyd Zeman Sr.; one granddaughter: Elicia Parkinson; two brothers: Andrew Holschbach and Ronald Holschbach; and five sisters: Beatrice Drida, Marcella Duellman, Elizabeth Korinek, Elaine Juedes and Carol Kleiber.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. The Rev. Christian Raj and Deacon Cal Naidl will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment to follow at the Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
