Marianna Michalczyk Obituary
Marianna Michalczyk, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on August 28,2025, surrounded by the love and prayers of her Family. She was born on May 22, 1935 in Poland to Karol and Franciszka Matuszczyk.
She loved God and lived for Family. Marianna took great pride in her children and grandchildren, never missing a chance to share their accomplishments at every opportunity. Marianna was known for her down-to-earth nature, great common sense, and devotion to those she loved.
Marianna is survived by her children, Elzbieta Grybos and Wesley and Barbara Michalczyk; her grandchildren, Joanna with husband Jeff, Anna with husband Lukasz, Jonathan with wife Elizabeth, and Marija; and her great granddaughter, Amelia.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4 pm until 7 pm at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 .
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 794 Pearson Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016. Interment will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
A reception will follow at noon hosted at Cafe Lucci, 609 Milwaukee Ave, Glenview, Il 60025.
