Mrs. Jenkins, 88, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Marianne was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church where she loved to worship Jesus and adored her church family. She was known for being strong-willed and independent and was the true pillar of her family. She enjoyed shopping and cooking; however, nothing made her happier than spending time with her family. She will be most remembered for being a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Jenkins (Stacy) and Rhonda Blythe (Kevin); grandchildren, Nicole Bowering (J.B), Katie Andreacchio (Josh), Eliza Gavin, Allie Blythe, Chelsea Martin-Bucci, Taylor Martin, and Lilli Signa (Seve); 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Edith Gerhardt, Peggy Storey, and Donnie McLelland (Annette); special friend, Charles Lowery; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Klein Jenkins; parents, R.T. and Ida Mae McLelland; and siblings, Leroy McLelland, James McLelland, Betty Ethridge, and Jeanette Smith.

Pallbearers will include Ronnie McLelland, J.B. Bowering, Josh Andreacchio, Seve Signa, and Jack Blythe.

Visitation will be held and hour prior to service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to TAKING IT TO THE STREETS Ministry for the purchase of bibles (414 North Point Drive Meridian, MS 39305).
