Marianne Jane was born on December 10, 1941 in Sidney, NE to Paul Elsam and Mildred Lorrie (Rapp) Wilson. She and her nine siblings grew up on their family homestead just west of Sidney. She met the love of her life Tom Kallhoff and on June 15, 1960 they were united in marriage at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sidney. Together they welcomed three daughters; Mindy, Teri, and Pam along with one son James who was still born.

Marianne had a true love for people of all walks of life and was known in her community as genuine as kind with a smile that lit-up the room. Her smile was never brighter than when she was surrounded by her family, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play.

She is survived by her three daughters, Mindy and husband Mike Schmidt of Gurley, NE, Teri and husband Dave Petersen of Sidney, NE, Pam and husband Rocky Vass of Sterling, CO, grandchildren Joe and wife Hilary Doyle, Kyle and wife Julie Doyle, Mikki and husband Shaun Nienhueser, Ty and wife Kristin Schmidt, and Josh Vass, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Loretta and husband Hap Naprstek, Doug and wife Lyn Wilson, Ed and wife Gloria Wilson, Sam and wife Jane Wilson, Kathy and husband Tom Solberg, Rex and wife Pat Wilson, Bo and wife Kathy Wilson, brother-in-law Darrell "Cork" Johnson, sister-in-law Debbie Kallhoff, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mildred, husband Tom Kallhoff, infant son James, brother Keith Wilson, sister Bobbie Johnson, brothers-in-law Lloyd and Jim Kallhoff, Bob Kennedy, Conrad Allgood, sister-in-law Maxine Allgood, Rose Kennedy, and great-grandson Jimmy Johnson.

it was always a good day when I was able to spend time with Ms. Marianne. She had a warm and friendly way about her and was always uplifting. A true lady in every sense and as a rose's bloom will fade, her spirit never will.
Rest in peace and comfort pretty girl.
