Marianne Veronica "Ursich" Kapmeyer

Marianne Veronica Kapmeyer, 73, of Scranton, passed away on Thursday morning at home.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Lewis J. and Marion McKeen Ursich.

Marianne was a devoted mother, cherished sister, and a deeply loved grandmother who always put the needs of others before her own, offering kindness, patience, and quiet strength to everyone around her.

She will be remembered for her generous heart, her unwavering dedication to her family, and the love she gave so freely throughout her life. Marianne's presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are sons, Fred Kapmeyer and wife Shannon, Throop and Brian Kapmeyer and wife Bridget, Dunmore. Grandchildren, William, Abigail, Kevin and Annie. Brothers, Albert and Robert Ursich, both from Shohola.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 7pm at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. in Dunmore.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 5pm until the time of the service.

Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
