Marianne Martin

Marianne "Mari" M. Bock Martin, age 61, of Harborcreek, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025. She was born in Erie on April 9, 1964, daughter of the late Donald and Diane Bock.

Mari graduated from Harbor Creek Christian School. She then worked in The Print Shop at The Barber National Institute for 30 years. Mari loved doing puzzles and was known as the Puzzle Queen at Brevillier Village. She was loved by all the staff and residents she interacted with. Mari was also an avid reader.

Mari is survived by her husband, John Martin; her sister, Donna Schersten; two nephews, Adam Bock and Damon Schersten (Siena); one niece, Sarah Oldach (Henry); four great-nieces and nephews, Amber and Ashton Bock and Mason and Brayden Oldach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark and Damon Bock.

Mari's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Ball Pavilion for the exceptional care given to her.

Friends will be received at the St. Barnabas Chapel at Brevillier Village, 5416 East Lake Road, on Friday, December 12th, from 10 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 am, conducted by Deacon Chuck Adamczyk. A luncheon will be held there following the service. A private interment will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Brevillier Village, 5416 East Lake Road, Erie, PA 16511.
