Marianne P. Tangney (Spring) of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025. Marianne will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Beloved daughter of Frederick J. Spring, Jr. and Annette Spring of Hingham. Cherished sister of Patrick Spring and his wife Rosanne of Milton, the late Christine DeMelis and her surviving husband Bob of Marston Mills, and the late Frederick J. Spring III. Loving aunt of Cori Lynch and her husband Andrew, Matthew DeMelis and Devin DeMelis, Alia and Giana Spring, Dylan and Aidan Spring, and her god child Stephen Demelis and his wife Nicole.
Marianne was known for her kind and generous spirit, always putting others before herself in quiet and meaningful ways. She adored her nieces and nephews, who brought her immense joy and pride. Marianne enjoyed spending time online by sharing funny videos with friends and family.
She loved the simple things in life- curling up at home with a good book, working on puzzles and enjoying the company of her beloved cats. She worked for many years at Liberty Mutual Insurance where she made lasting impressions on colleagues with her gentle nature and thoughtful heart.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
