Marie Stewart Cagwin

CAGWIN, Marie Stewart, 82, passed away to heaven July 24, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings from North Carolina, as well as her husband, Glenn Cagwin; and her youngest daughter, Darcas Hunt Brown. Marie leaves behind four daughters, Jeanne Allen, Dawnna Seldon, Tanya Bennett, and Peggy Carl; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marie was a pillar and a force in her community and a rock for her family. She served as General District Clerk for the State of Virginia. Marie devoted her life to her family and sent up many prayers for her family and friends. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery 4001 New Kent Hwy., Quinton, Va. 23141. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society. She will be deeply missed.
