Marie Coder Obituary

In 1959, Marie married the love of her life, Homan Coder Jr. in Michigan. Marie spent most of her life raising her family at home which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in Greenfield, IN
Marie is survived by her daughter, Sally (Scott) Brown; son, David Coder; grandchildren, Jeremy Coder; Nicole (Kenny) Gooch; Shane (Chelsea) Sweeting; Ashley (Kaylee) Sweeting; Charly (Drew) Stevens; great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Gooch; Asher Gooch; Zeke Gooch; Eden Gooch; Oakley Stevens; and Koa Stevens. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homan; four brothers; and four sisters.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
Charitable donations in Marie's memory may be sent via mail to Hancock County Senior Services, 1870 Fields Blvd., Greenfield, IN 46140, by website at https://www.hcssi.org/donations, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
