Marie Sandra Discher

Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend to many, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Marie is survived by her husband of 54 years, James; her children Kimberlee Kotlinski (Gene), Ronald McNally (Ann), Rhonda Paciocco (Nick), Randy Discher (Annie Flynn), Rick Discher (Julie Valdes). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Heather Kuehneman (Ernie), Steven J. McNally (Piyanuch), Sebastian McNally (Angela Rodke), Wesley McNally, Adam Kotlinski (Alexandra), Ryan Kotlinski, Katie Kelsay (Chris), Emily Cavender (Levi), Amanda Canzoneri, Alyssa Canzoneri (Ryan Hatchett), Tiara Flewelling (Brent), Shana Downs (Tim), Deven Proffitt (Levi), Dayna Goudie (James), and Chad Discher (Lakyn); ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Steven W McNally (Heidi), her parents (Rosa and Leslie), and her six siblings (Bruce, Dick, Jerry, Marian, Mildred, Norm).
Born in Livonia Michigan in December 1935, Marie will be remembered for her warmth, generosity and endless strength. With a large family tree and a family consisting of both blood ties and bonds formed from the heart, Marie's reach was as far as it was wide. She was cherished deeply by many. Marie retired from Ford Motor Credit Company in 1993 following a successful career. Marie and Jim loved to spend time with family, travel and enjoyed time "up North" at their cottage in West Branch, Michigan.
Family and friends may gather at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington, for a celebration of Marie's life on Wednesday evening, April 2, at 6:00 pm. Visiting hours will precede the funeral ceremony beginning at 2 pm.
Marie's entombment is planned for Thursday morning, April 3, at 11:00 am, at the Glen Eden Mausoleum, 35667 West Eight Mile Road, Livonia. A luncheon will follow at DeLuca's Restaurant, 27424 Warren Avenue, (at Inkster Road), Westland.
