Marie Facinelli Obituary
Marie A. Facinelli, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 13, 2024. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Facinelli. Marie was born on February 21, 1930 in Bridgeport, PA to the late Antonio S. and Congetta (Capaldo) Garganta. She was a 1948 graduate of Liberty High School and then graduated from Bethlehem Business College. Marie worked as the Librarian for Sacred Heart School, Miller Heights. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem, Twp.
Survivors: children: James R. (Jackie) Facinelli of Dunedin, FL, Anthony W. (Gail) Facinelli of Bethlehem, John M. (Michele) Facinelli of Nazareth, Francine M. (Anthony) Dippolito of Allentown; siblings: Sister Francine Garganta, OSF of Bethlehem, Congetta Pereira of Hellertown, Gloria Jean Garganta of Hellertown; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her siblings: Pasqualina, Antonio, John A., Albert R., Elva M. Amelio.
Services: Friends and family are invited to her visitation from 10:30am-11:30am Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, followed by a prayer service at 11:30am. The inurnment will conclude at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Online condolences may be offered at www.connellfuneral.com
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to School Sisters of Saint Francis at Monocacy Manor, 395 Bridle Path Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
