Marie Faught Obituary

Marie earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Elementary Education and taught for over 20 years in California. She never had biological children but loved animals, especially dogs (chihuahuas being her favorite) and so had adopted many "fur babies" throughout her life. She spent her last year of life in Colorado in the loving company of her human family and her new furry family, her sister's dogs Lexi and Tiki who learned to love her quickly.
Survived by brother Alfonso Charles Montoya, sisters Corrine and Lydia Montoya and Olivama Lopez, her 3 nephews, 1 niece and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 younger sisters Yvonne, Gloria, and Emily Montoya.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.LighthouseFamilyLFM.com. If your heart dictates it, contributions may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Knaub, Utah in the memory of Marie Ruth Faught.
