Marie Ann (Watts) Jordon, 66, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away in her home on July 9, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Ticonderoga, New York, on September 18, 1958, she was raised in Silver Bay and Hague, New York. She was the daughter of Walter and Alice (Reynolds) Watts.
Marie spent much of her life in Ticonderoga before relocating to Jacksonville in 2001. She was best known for her kind heart, unwavering love for her family, and her deep compassion for others. She had a quiet strength and a warmth that drew people to her. She was a devoted fan of NCIS and other crime dramas, and she found joy in gardening and caring for the people she loved.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Roxann Jordon of NY; her daughter, Brandi Jordon of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren: Keeley-Rose and her husband Robbie Patterson II of Florida, Amadeus Jordon of NY, and Deanna Brown of FL; her sister-in-law Susan Watts of NY; her nephew Matthew Watts and his wife Cortney of NY; and her great-nephew Michael Watts of NY.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Alice Watts, and her brother, John.
To her family, Marie was more than just a mother and grandmother - she was a best friend, a confidante, and a constant source of unconditional love. She had a gift for accepting people exactly as they were and loving them wholeheartedly. Her presence, her laughter, and her love will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to watch the sunset, call someone you love, or plant something beautiful - just as Marie would have.
