Marie Kim Magee

With sadness and love, the family of Marie Kim Magee announces her passing at age 91 on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. She passed to heaven peacefully at home, surrounded by her beloved family. Marie was born on December 11, 1933, in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the daughter of Young Sik Kim and Il Ye Hyon Kim. Orphaned at a young age, Marie loved and cared for her two younger siblings, Jung Soon and Chong Ho Kim. On September 6, 1962, Marie married her husband Alan B. Magee with whom she came to America and shared sixty three years of marriage. Together, they raised two children-Elaine and Michael. She took immense delight in watching her family grow to include grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marie's presence was a constant source of stability, encouragement, and wisdom. Her life was a testament to hard work, profound love, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Alan Magee Jr., and her great-granddaughter,Mabel Grace Lockett. Marie is survived by her husband Alan B. Magee, her daughter Elaine Faieta and her husband Phil, her son Michael Magee and his wife Meredith, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Romans 8:38-39 "For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, northings present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Family and friends may visit 10-11:00am on Saturday, November 8, at the Greencastle Bible Church, 2940 Amanda Northern Rd NW, Carroll, OH 43112 with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Mike Wyatt to follow at 11:00am. Interment at Lithopolis Cemetery.
