Marie Manney Obituary

Born in Shamokin, PA, Mrs. Manney resided in North Brunswick for 70 years. Prior to her retirement in 1987, she worked as a bookkeeper for 10 years with Great Eastern Supermarkets, New Brunswick.
Marie was a Cheerleader Coach with the Pop Warner Football Leagues of North Brunswick; she also was a member of the Adams AC of North Brunswick.
Mrs. Manney was predeceased by her husband Anthony Manney Sr. in 1993, a son Anthony in 2025, 2 brothers John and Thomas & 3 sisters Anna, Jean and Marci. Surviving is a daughter Marilou Carty; her daughter-in-Law Janis Manney; a sister Florence Yeager; her longtime companion and caretaker Ken Besold: 5 grandchildren Casey Carty, Justin Carty (Corrie), Crystal Manney, Kyle Manney (Danielle) and Leann Manney; 3 great grandchildren Julien, Athalia and Zachariah.
Visitation will be Monday, December 1st, 2025, at the GLEASON FUNERAL HOME OF NORTH BRUNSWICK, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick form 9:00am to 11:30am followed by a 12-noon funeral mass at Parish of the Visitation (St. Mary's Mount Virgin). Interment Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.
