MURRAY, Marie (Mitchell) On September 18, 2025, Marie (Mitchell) Murray, 75, of Danvers and Salem, passed away. Born in Waltham, Marie was the daughter of the late John O. and Anna S. (Honekamp) Mitchell. Marie was raised and educated in Danvers and Salem and was a graduate of St. James High School in Salem. A hardworking and driven woman, she owned several successful small businesses. At the heart of Marie's life was her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a passionate fan of New England Sports and a season ticket holder to both the Patriots and the Celtics. She gave generously of her time, volunteering and fundraising for the Bernie Mitchell Foundation and supporting the golf program at Bishop Fenwick High School. Her unwavering love, loyalty, and presence will be remembered always. In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her brother, Bernie Mitchell. She is survived by her husband, Archie Cerullo; her son, John Murray (Stephanie); stepchildren, Paula Elwell, Scott Cerullo, and Brian Cerullo; her siblings, Jack Mitchell (Liz), Margaret Mitchell (Arthur Larson), Mary Mitchell, Diane McGlynn (Jack), and Nancy Jordan; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and extended family. Visiting Hours: Friends and family are invited to Marie's Funeral Service, which will be held from O'Donnell Cremations-Funerals-Celebrations, 167 Maple Street (RT 62), DANVERS, on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 9 A.M. Mass to follow at St. Richard Parish, 90 Forest St., Danvers, at 10 A.M. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, 226 North Street, Salem.
