Marie Ann (Gilliatt) Null
Marie Ann (Gilliatt) Null, age 75 of Flora and formerly of St. Francisville, passed away Wednesday April 16, 2025, at Axiom Healthcare of Flora. She was born on September 16, 1949, in Vincennes Indiana to Henry Albert Gilliatt Jr. and Jennie Irene (Stoltz) Gilliatt.
She graduated from Bridgeport township High School and went on to attended Indiana Business College and Olney Central College. She had worked at Champion Labs, United Methodist Village, and Burgin Manor.
Marie attended and was a member or associate member of many churches in her lifetime including: Simpson Methodist Church, First Christian Church of Bridgeport, Elm Street Church in Olney, St. Francisville Christian Church, and Rushville Church of Christ.
Marie truly enjoyed volunteer work and being a member of DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbor of America Toussaint Dubois Chapter 1976.
Those left to carry on Marie's legacy are: her brother-Gary Gilliatt and wife Jackie of Sumner: one uncle- Earl Stoltz and wife Virginia of St. Francisville: one niece- Jessie Stoner and husband Brent along with their two children Bailee and Brantley all of Worthington, Indiana: and her extended family.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Irene Gilliat; one brother, James Ray Gilliatt in infancy; and several aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Bridgeport Cemetery.
