Marie Curry Priest, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina. Born in Coward, SC on June 4, 1951, she lived a life defined by her immense love for family, her kind-hearted nature, and her selfless spirit.

Marie dedicated a significant portion of her career as a Dispatcher for AT&T-Bell South, where she was recognized for her thoughtful approach and unwavering support to her colleagues. Beyond her professional life, she cherished her role as a homemaker, creating a warm and nurturing environment for her loved ones.

Her hobbies, particularly her passion for cooking, brought joy to family gatherings, where her culinary creations were the centerpiece of cherished memories. Marie’s generous and loving disposition left an indelible mark on all who knew her, and her thoughtfulness radiated in every interaction.

Marie is survived by her son, Matthew Priest (Samantha), her sisters, Jeanette Alexander and Kathleen Griggs (Wendell); her grandchildren, Jayce Priest and Allison Davenport. The legacy of her kindness and generosity will forever be treasured by them and all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy R. Priest.

As we remember Marie, we celebrate a life lived with love, and a spirit that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
