Marie M. Criscuolo Renaldi, 97, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, at the Hamden Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Renaldi, Jr. Marie was born in New Haven on September 8th, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Gesualda Esposito Criscuolo. Marie grew up in The Hill section of New Haven. After high school, she married and cared for her husband, and her four children. She also worked as a Food Service Provider for the Town of Hamden for almost 20 years until her retirement. Marie was a devout Catholic, always enjoyed taking frequent trips to the casino with her husband Frank to play bingo, cooking that big Sunday meal, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, whom she loved unconditionally. Marie is survived by her sons, Frank III (Ann Marie), Joseph, Fred, and Robert (Maria) Renaldi; her grandchildren, Frank IV (Jacinta), Anthony (Jessica), and Vincent (Christina) Renaldi, Alyssa (Tom) Hamilton, and Erica (Glenn) D'Amato; and her great-grandchildren, Luke, Ava, Noah, Hannah, Teagan, Caden, and Carmela Renaldi, Enzo and Giuliana D'Amato, and Anthony and Rachel Hamilton. Marie is also survived by her sister, Anne Ugolik of Hamden. She was predeceased by her three brothers and four sisters.
The visiting hours will be Saturday, March 7th, from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven, at 11:00 o'clock. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
