Marie "Babe" Rispoli

Marie G. "Babe" Rispoli, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025 in Yale New Haven Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Rispoli, Sr. Born in New Haven on July 21, 1933, daughter of the late James and Ellen DiNatale Mazzetta, Babe who was also known as Ruby in her role as a professional clown had many interests and hobbies but her devotion to her family was most important. She was a member of the Elm City Banjo Club, enjoyed semi-professional bowling, karaoke and had a immense love of animals including several rescue dogs she cared for. Babe was also a talented pianist, singer and seamstress. She had a long career working with Chieppo Bus Co, the City of New Haven and several other roles. She was the mother of Maria (Paul) Scott and John (Elizabeth) Rispoli, Jr. Sister of Anthony and Vincent Mazzetta. Grandmother of Nicole and Matthew St. Clair. Great grandmother of Mia Serio.
Visiting hours will be held Monday morning from 9:30-11:00 in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. A service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
