Michael A. Daurio, 39, of New Haven, CT passed suddenly on March 7th after a severe asthma attack.
He was a lifelong resident of New Haven and the son of the late Maggie Daurio. He was raised by his aunt Joan Schlauder and the late George Schlauder. He is survived by his brother, Vinny of Cromwell, CT.
He was a graduate of Platt Tech High School in Milford in 2005. He was an avid Mets fan and loved playing cards and video games with family and friends. He was a true animal lover, owning cats his whole life.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Raphael's Verdi 3 North MICU for taking kind, loving care of him in his last days.
Although he was taken from his family and friends far too soon, his passing has led to the saving of four lives through selfless organ donation.
Arrangements - A graveside service will be held at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven at the convenience of the family.
