We grew up down the street from the Daurios. They lived on MacAlester many years when the boys were young. Charlene and my mom were good friends. Almost every Saturday morning my dad and I would stop at Dunkin Donuts and take over to John's Standard Station where John would have coffee on, we would spend an hour or so there with the guys. I wouldn't trade those days for a million bucks. RIP Charlene, and my condolences to the Daurio family.

Gary and I send our sincere condolences and prayers to John and the Daurio sons and families. John and Charlene were two of our Uncle Tim´s favorite people. It was always special to see them at family events.

John, as many times as we've searched for just the right word or just the right message that would magically take away all the hurt and sadness that comes when we lose someone that was so close and dear to us, those words never seem to come. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.

Charlene and her boys and husband John were our neighbors when we were all kids on Mac Alester Road. I have wonderful memories of her and the boys playing with my two brothers and the steak frys the adults would have in the summers. We could all keep track of each other through the chain link fences. Moms could always call their kids home for supper just by yelling out the door. Charlene was a darling lady and raised wonderful boys! My condolences to the family. Karen Craddock Waters
