Marie Theresa Trimble, age 82, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at her residence in Spring Hill, Florida. She was the beloved widow of John Trimble, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Ansonia, Connecticut, Marie was the daughter of the late John and Anna Lamonica. She spent most of her life in Connecticut before relocating to Florida in 2002 with her husband to be closer to their daughter.
Marie was a woman of deep faith and compassion. She was an active member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, where she found joy in saying the rosary and praying for others. Her kindness and selflessness touched everyone she met-she always put others before herself and would give the shirt off her back to someone in need.
She loved volunteering in the classroom where her daughter taught, and she cherished time spent with friends and family, especially her grandsons, who were her pride and joy. Marie had a passion for reading, particularly biographies and mysteries, and she found delight in visiting Disney, where Mickey and Minnie brought out her inner child. She was an avid collector of Disney trinkets and a lifelong dog lover-never without a furry companion by her side.
Marie is survived by her devoted daughter, Kelly Curl (Dwayne), and her cherished grandsons, Jesse Curl and Kyle Curl. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John Trimble; both of her parents; and her brother, John Francis Lamonica.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Service information is pending and will be posted soon.
