Marilyn Bart

OAKFIELD - Marilyn Bart, 68, past suddenly on Wednesday May 17, 2023. Marilyn was born July 1, 1954 in Hartford, CT. The daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Turgeon) Bart.
She graduated from Southington High School in 1972. Shortly after graduating she married James Wearne and they started their family. She lived a simple, quiet life. She moved around over the years until she found "home". She loved spending time with her grandchildren in all those travels. She loved to garden, sew, and crochet. Mom was a very kind and loving person. Her passion in life was taking care of others. She loved doing home care and working in group homes.
She is survived by her daughters Lori and Steve Hazlett of Meriden, CT, Sharon Poole of Calais, ME, Stacey and Sterling Tarr of Oakfield, ME, and Rachel and Thorsten Schott of Whitehouse Station, NJ; ten grandchildren Sonja, Stephen, Morgan, Ashlie, Shain, Jade, Jasmine, Seth, Ella, and Anna; three grandchildren Haileigh, Jordan, and Trevor; her mother Agnes Bart, her brother's Frank, Greg, Joe, and Stephen, and her sister Jan. She had many nieces and nephews as well as cousins. She also leaves behind her very special cats Dora, Diego, and Jaguar.
She is predeceased by her father Joseph G. Bart.
