Marilyn Evelyn Bell (Schmidtke) 93, was called home by her Savior Jesus Christ, with her loving family by her side on November 03, 2025. She was born February 11, 1932 in Chicago, Il to Paul and Florence Schmidtke. She married Vincent Paul Bell at Five Holy Martyrs Church, November 25, 1954. She was a resident of Chicago until 1989 and then moved to Johnsburg, Il to be near family and most recently to Fox Lake, Il.

She loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and soul and shared His Word with everyone she met. She was a long time member of CrossPoint Church in Fox Lake, Il.

She loved celebrating birthdays and holidays. Her ministry was sending cards and letters of encouragement in the mail. Her house was open to all family events, Bible studies, and game playing. She was known for lovingly listening, while providing a kind words. All acknowledged her joy and quick wit. She was an avid Scrabble and card player.

He death was proceeded by her parents Paul and Florence Schmidtke, loving husband Paul, and sister Dolores (Frank) Slewoski. Shes the loving mother of seven children, Diane (Ed) Data, Paul (Maureen) Bell, Cecilia Alshafei, Kathryn Bell, David (Jane) Bell, Dan Bell, Jane (Ryan) White; proud grandmother of Amy (Josh) Wiseman, David (Dawn) Wronski, Ben, Erin, Amanda (Kieth) Ragusa, Rom (Samantha) Alshafei, Esma Alshafei, Kayla (Mark) Coldren, Evan Thompson, Jenny (fiancée' John) Bell, Mike (Ashley) Bell, Natalie and Rachel Slack.

Memorial and service will be at CrossPoint Church, 27430 W. Nippersink Rd. Ingleside, Il. 60041 on Saturday, November 15th, beginning at 12:30pm. Service starts at 1:00pm-2:30pm, snacks and fellowship to follow. In lieu of flowers, remembrance can be made through contributions to Billygraham.org or by calling 1-877-247-2426.
