Marilyn Elizabeth Geels Bishop, 72, of West Fork, formerly of Lake Village, died Friday, June 27, 2025, at Circle of Life at Legacy Village in Bentonville, AR. She was a retired florist and bookkeeper and attended Harris Baptist Church in Elkins.

She Is preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Geels, 3 brothers, Gilbert, Jerome and Eugene Geels and 2 sisters, Dorothy Weisenfels and Laverne Stovall.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Bishop of West Fork; 2 daughters, Angela Bishop of Lake Village and Monica Martin and husband, Jamie of West Fork; 3 brothers, Jim Geels and Bobby Geels both of Scranton and Eddie Geels of Paris; a sister, Carol Canada of St. Louis Valley, 3 grandchildren, Brittany Huffman and husband James, Cole Martin and wife, Brittny and Hunter Martin and wife Annah; and 4 great grandchildren which were her joy, Laynie, Mayleigh, Mark Cole Jr. and Andie.

There will be a visitation Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Bishop King Funeral Home in Lake Village from 5 to 7 pm and graveside services will be Thursday July 3, 2025, at Brentwood Cemetery at 10:00 am with memorial service to follow at 11:00 am at Harris Baptist Church in Elkins.
