Marilyn Buck Obituary

She was born May 30, 1936 in Cassville, Missouri the daughter of Ralph and Myrle (Pilant) Coatney. On July 31, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Robert Paul Buck, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 27, 2016. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Carolyn Vice.
Surviving are one son, Bob Buck and his wife Mary of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Ashley Croft, Amanda Hopkins, Andrea Niceley and Alexis Englebright and nine great grandchildren, Tyler, Averi, Logan, Gracie, Jaxon, Kellan, Olivia, Jackie and Barrett.
Marilyn attended school in Wheaton, Missouri graduating from Wheaton High School. After moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1975 she was employed by Tulsa Union Public Schools in accounts payable from where she retired in 2000. Some favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles and Logic book and word search. She loved roses and her family was what was important to her. She was of the Baptist faith.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Pastor Paul Wahlert will conduct the services. Burial will be at Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton.
The family will receive friends 1:00 P.M. until service time at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
