Marilyn L. Crouse, age 84, passed away on December 22, 2024, after a brief illness. Until recently, Marilyn was a lifetime resident of Johnson City, TN. Marilyn was a proud small business owner who dedicated her career to Landmark Style Center Hair Salon where she made a lasting impact on her community. Her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to her work were admired by all who knew her. Outside of her professional life, Marilyn was an avid bargain hunter who found joy in discovering treasures during her shopping adventures. She also had a deep love for animals and shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Misty.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Kenneth Crouse; daughter, Janet Sherman (Steve); grandson, Steven Gunter (Brook); granddaughter, Sarah Faulkner (Jacob); two great-grandchildren, Winnie and Dallas Faulkner; and sister, Doris Stonecipher, as well as step daughters, Gwen Marone (Edward); Pamela Rzucidlo (David); four step grandchildren and 2 step great grandsons. Her memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved her. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Mable and Dawson McKee; brothers, Eugene McKee and Richard McKee; and sister, Margaret Reece.
Marilyn’s family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, December 30, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Kennett Square, 415 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Following the service, interment will take place at Union Hill Cemetery, 424 North Union Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
