Marilyn Louise Flynn Green, age 85 of Gautier, MS, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
She was a longtime resident of Gautier, MS. She was a graduate of Brookhaven High School and of MS Gulf Coast Community College. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Gautier. Marilyn was a homemaker for many years while traveling out west with her husband’s job. They moved to the MS gulf coast in 1971. Marilyn later worked as a keypunch operator and then became a licensed practical nurse in her early fifties. She was such a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be forever missed and in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Margaret Flynn; her infant sibling, Rebecca Flynn; and her husband of 56 years, Edd Green.
Survivors include her 5 children: Pamela Roberts, Paula Holland, David Green, Diann Green, and Keith Green; 7 grandchildren: Tyler Green, Courtney Morton, Wesley Holland, Sydney Holland, Fallon Dyle, Haley Benvie, Hayden Green; 3 great grandchildren: Lana-Catherine Holland, Cohen Green and Maverick Morton; 4 siblings: Joanie Cason, Margaret Laine, Pat Williams and Kevin Flynn.
Pallbearers are Tyler Green, Wesley Holland, Hayden Green, Tyler Morton, and Tyler Benvie.
The family would like to thank the caring staff of Truewood by Merrill and Arden Home Health/Hospice.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit two hours prior. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
