MARILYN HEIMSATH Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 2, 2019.
Marilyn S Heimsath passed away peacefully at home on April 1, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.
Born August 26th 1941 to William Henry Schultz and Mildred Westphal she was the 2nd of two daughters. She is survived by her sister Cassandra (Glen) Hoffman of Bonfield, Il. Both parents have preceded her in death.
Marilyn was a devoted wife and mother to her husband: Thomas George Heimsath (who joined her in heaven April 9th, 2019) and loving mother to two amazing daughters: Karen (Mike) Field of Noblesville, In. and Julie A Heimsath of Buckeye, Az. She was a beloved grandmother to 3 beautiful grandchildren: Allison K Koberstein of Buckeye, Az., John Thomas (Jack) Field and Daniel M Field of Noblesville Indiana.
Marilyn put a bright spot into any day with her smiles, laughter and wit. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She referred to herself as a domestic engineer for most of her life, there wasn't much she couldn't do. She loved to garden and can fresh fruits and vegetables. She was phenomenal at restoring antique trunks (no these are not available they will remain with her children). She volunteered for several years as secretary for her church and as her children grew she explored working opportunities outside the home.
Her Earthly presence is dearly missed.
The family wishes to extend our appreciation to Hospice of The Valley for assisting in making her final weeks comfortable.
Marilyn's wishes were honored and she was surrounded by family and remained comfortable as she took her final breath on Earth and her first breath in the Kingdom of Heaven.
There will be a funeral Mass at St Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Surprise, Arizona on June 26th 2019 at 10:30am along with her husband Thomas. Attendees may arrive 45 minutes prior to Mass.
Final Burial will be in Illinois as the ashes of both Thomas and Marilyn will be placed together at the Gravesite of George and Lucile Heimsath and Douglas Heimsath. This will take place on September 21st, 2019: appropriately their wedding anniversary.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Hospice of the Valley: 1-800-698-1273
