Marilyn Mae Keelean, age 87 of Lake City, passed away December 18, 2025 at The Curry House in Cadillac.

Marilyn was born February 17, 1938 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Hubert and Edna (Brown) Keelean.

After graduating from Hudsonville High School Marilyn attended Davenport Institute of Business.

She served her country and joined the US Air Force in February 1958 and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1988.

In 1992 Marilyn joined the Hospital Auxillary and was a life member.

She loved anything to do with animals and frequently visited local restaurants to share a meal and a story.

Marilyn is survived by a sister, Colleen Ann Weatherbee and two brothers, Brian Hughbert Keelean and Gary Charles Keelean and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Kay Sidney Derkse and Kathy Gaile Higgins and a brother, Jerry Phillip Keelean.

At Marilyn's request there are not any services planned.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of choice.
