1939 - 2026
Lynn, MA - Marilyn Jean (Merrifield) Keighley, 87, of Lynn, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born on January 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret (Crowley) Merrifield, and the beloved wife of the late Donald J. Keighley.
Marilyn was born and raised in Lynn and attended Lynn schools. She devoted her life to raising her four children and later was a waitress at the Hawthorne Restaurant in downtown Lynn and at Spuds in Saugus. Marilyn loved to garden and you would always look forward to her cooking, especially her home baked cookies that were always on the kitchen table.
Marilyn will be deeply missed and is survived by her loving children, Donald Keighley, Jr. and his wife Judith, Michael Keighley and his wife Kim, James Keighley and his wife Robin, and Kathleen Davis and her husband Jeff; her grandchildren, Jessica and Marissa Keighley, Ashley Keighley and her husband Paul Norton, Adam Keighley and his wife Ashley, Patrick Keighley and his fiancé Shelby DiFiore, Jaclyn Nerich and her husband Bryan, Tyler Davis and his fiancé Bianca Genualdo, and Jackson Davis and her great-grandchildren Rory Keighley and Hallie Norton. She is also survived by her siblings Mitzi Gilmore and Richard "Dickey" Bozarjian, as well as her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Herbert and Margaret and her husband Donald, she was predeceased by her siblings, John "Butch" Bozarjian, Robert Bozarjian, and Pat Cunningham.
Service Information: A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 11a.m. in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), Lynn. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Lynn.
