Marilyn L. Kuhn

Marilyn Louise Kuhn, 72, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024, in Waynesboro, PA.
Born January 24, 1952, in North Charleroi, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Salvino. She graduated from Monessen High School. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her master's degree from Old Dominion University. Later, she became the District Manager of Human Resources at Wyle Laboratories and the Vice President of Human Resources at Langley Federal Credit Union. Marilyn also served as the Chairperson for the Langley for Families Foundation, was on the board for the Peninsula Agency on Aging, and was a member of the Kiwanis Club. After she retired in 2017, she was very active in her local community. Marilyn volunteered regularly at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, and was involved in a local bible study, yoga class, garden club, investment club, and bunco group.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter Jamie Fuller, son-in-law Allen, and granddaughter Abigail of Virginia Beach, VA; sister-in-law Norma Salvino of Leslie, MO; nephew Rick Salvino of Camdenton, MO; nephew Ronnie Salvino and great-niece Katherine of Leslie, MO; nephew Robert Salvino of St. Louis, MO; niece Katalin Rockey of Brownsville, PA; and other dear family members. She was preceded in death by her father Albert Salvino; mother Mary Salvino; brother Ronald Salvino; and sister Karen Rockey.
Marilyn's family was her greatest joy, especially her granddaughter, Abigail. Marilyn always put her family first, and felt that becoming a mother and grandmother were her greatest accomplishments. Her warmth, generosity, and perseverance will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marilyn's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and Abigail will grow up hearing countless stories of her incredible "Babee."
A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 P.M. followed by a memorial service from 7:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5033 Rouse Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Marilyn's funeral mass will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 12:30 P.M. at St. Sebastian Parish, 801 Broad Ave, Belle Vernon, PA 15012. Burial will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
