Marilyn Marobella, born May 5, 1936, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 24, 2025, after a long battle with illness.

Daughter of the late Frederick Palsgraf and Geraldine Kelly of Long Island, NY, Marilyn lived a full life defined by love, resilience, and devotion to her family. She was a beloved wife and predeceased in death by her "best friend" and husband the late Paul Marobella, her long term partner the late James Dillon and her 1st husband Richard Carr.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Laura Lyn Dillon of Hanover, MA, her son William Carr of Florida, and her daughter Deborah Carr of Lakeville. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Carr Jr.

She will be remembered as a cherished grandmother to Chantal Lynn of Blairsville, GA, Luke Dillon of Hanover, Nuria Delgado of Bridgewater, Nathaniel Camara of Lakeville, Jonathan Carr of Fall River and Christopher Carr of Florida. She was predeceased by her grandson, Gabriel Camara. Marilyn was also a proud great-grandmother to Savannah, Madison Carr and Logan Carr.

She is fondly remembered by her former daughter-in-law Lucia (Goncalves) Gomes and was predeceased by her former son-in-law Louis Camara.

Marilyn's life was a testament to her strength, character and enduring love for her family. Her wit and sense of humor was unmatched. Her laughter filled many rooms, and her spark will live on in the hearts of all the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service at Hanover Center Cemetery, Silver St, Hanover, MA 02339, on Tuesday, September 2nd at 10 AM.

Those who wish to send flowers may send to Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St, Hanover, MA 02339.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marilyn's memory to the MSPCA-Angell.
