Marilyn Martin (72), passed away on September 8, 2025, surrounded by family who loved her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who met life's challenges with strength, resilience, and a bold sense of style.

She was born on November 20, 1952, in Newport, Arkansas to Leon and Edith Short. She will be remembered for her love of family. Nothing brought her more joy than her grandchildren and she loved whenever they came to visit. They truly were they joy of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband John W. Martin, parents Leon and Edith Short, and brother-in-law Bill Lukas.
