Marilyn Rose Myers

Mrs. Marilyn Rose Myers, age 83, of Crossett, AR, passed away on Friday evening, July 11, 2025 at her home while surrounded by her family. She was born on July 31, 1941 in Crossett, AR, the daughter of the Late Floyd and Rosemary Burnett. Marilyn was a devout Christian and member of First Baptist Church of Crossett and a Crossett High School graduate of 1959. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and collecting trinkets. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her beloved son, Drake Crossland; her loving husband, Jim Myers; her older brother, Don Allen Burnett and his wife, Judy Burnett.

Survivors include her only daughter, Meredith Rose Crossland; two very loved granddaughters, Madilyn Rose Crossland and Courtney Ramona Crossland; her brother and sister in law, John W. and Sharon Burnett; four nieces and nephews, Kelly Lynn Spradlin, Brad and Liz Burnett, Mark Burnett and Lee Burnett. She leaves many friends and other family members who will miss her.

Graveside services begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Slaughter officiating. Pallbearers are Mark Burnett, Evan Murphy, Geoff Wolfe and Carson Crossland. A private visitation will be held for family.
