Marilyn “Noni” Veuleman Olas
Marilyn “Noni” Veuleman Olas, 90, of Lake Charles, passed away on Wednesday February 5, 2025, at a Cape Cod, Massachusetts hospital with her son faithfully at her side.
Noni was born in Many, Louisiana to Dewey Edward and Violet Kathleen Parham Veuleman. She was a long-time member of Eastwood Pentecostal Church in Lake Charles and retired as a Nurse. She loved her family and recently went to be with her son in Massachusetts.
Those left to Noni’s memory are her son, Jonathan Olas, Cape Cod, Massachusetts; brothers, Malcom Wayne Veuleman, Houston, Texas and Norman Veuleman, Marble Falls, TX and sister-in-law Ferndale Veuleman, Lake Charles as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A gathering of family and friends will begin on Wednesday February 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles and will continue on Thursday February 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM and will conclude with a funeral service at 10:00 AM with Pastor Aaron Lopez officiating. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery.
