Karen Olas

Karen Olas passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer on the morning of April 16, 2024. She is predeceased by her daughter, Danielle Moon; mother, Gloria Plage; brothers, Michael, Richard, and James Haynes; beloved pup, Frank.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Stephen Olas; daughters, Christa Felice, Jennifer Olas Hazen (Alex); and was a loving Mimi to grandchildren, Alexi, Jacob, Nicholas, Greyson, and Jack.
Karen was a very strong willed and loving person who always put her family first. Weekly Sunday family dinners will never be the same without her special touch. The family is grateful for all of the ways she made them feel special and loved over the years. Her signature phrase "Are you a happy camper" came from years of camping, hiking, and doing all things outdoors.
Friends and Family may pay their respects this Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 2 - 5 pm at the Anthony Funeral Chapel (1031 Ridge Road, Webster NY). A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2024, 10:30 am at Anthony Funeral Chapel, 1031 Ridge Road, Webster NY. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ROCovery Fitness, 1035 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14613.
