Marilyn Gray Reeves was born in Butler, Ga. to the parentage of Barbara Montfort Gray and Rosevelt Gray . Marilyn was a loving sister to a total of 14 siblings and one of which preceded her in there Gregory Gray.
Maryland became a faithful servant of the Lord at an early age and was baptized as a youth at Antioch Baptist Church, throughout her membership she served as an Usher and the founding Director of Antioch Voices of Praise Youth Choir. On December 17, 20? Viol and Marilyn Reeves united in holy matrimony which he also preceded her in death; together they shared many blessed and loving years as lifelong partners.
Marilyn begin her formal education in the Taylor County School System after high school she farthered her studies in the field of cosmetology Arts. Marilyn was well-versed in many work endeavors. Her work careers included Thomaston Mills, after many years of dedicated service to the textile industry she sought employment with Walmart. She was employed with the Peach County Law Enforcement Center as the kitchen supervisor and her last work venture was the General Manager at Family Dollar until her health declined.
Marilyn was loved and cherished by many. She was steadfast in dedicating her life to her children, grandchildren and family. Marilyn was always a big believer in showing love to others. She also was a very cheerful giver. She never met someone she did not try to bless and do all she could for. She love decorating, cooking, shopping, a being with family.
Marilyn was called home to eternal rest on October 19, 2025. Marilyn fought with heartfelt strength for years battling Multiple myeloma.
She leaves to cherish her memory her four children Marcus Gray, Mitisha Dugger, Mariah Dugger and Jessica Reeves, all of Butler, Ga. Twelve grandchildren: Markayla Gray, Martaviioun Little Marcus Gray Jr, Marqualin Little, Jaylen Bunkley, Mi’on Little, MarZion Peeples, Mckae Dugger, M’Rai Dugger, McKarter Digger, McKue Dugger and Major Gray. Thirteen siblings: Jackie Woodard Thomaston Ga, Gwendolyn (Ricky) Montgomery Roberta Georgia, Emantha Gray, Butler, Ga. Jasper Gray Thomaston Ga, Terry (Reeshemah) Gray Roberta Ga. Sandra (Timothy, Sr.) Howell, Thomaston, Ga. Tracy Gray, Thomaston, Ga. Michael (Tresia) Gray, Roberta, Ga. Vincent Gray, Butler, Ga. Adrain Gray Thomaston, Ga. Frangola Skelton Thomaston, Ga. Bryant Gray, Thomaston, Ga. and Nettie Jordan, Butler, Ga. her cousin Joseph Sanders, that she loved like a brother. Two godchildren , Cetris (Pete) Lockett, and Dedrick (Candace) Brown, Four neices and nephews she considered as her own: LaTonya ((Steve) Andrews, Nicholas Ogburn, Deidra (Steven) Dugger and Timothy Howell, Jr. Close friends: Debbie Woodall, Sylvia Mathis, Lora Ann Sanders, Clamatine ( ) Matthews, Barbara Towns, Constance Dean, Ramonia Porter, Anedress Willis, Towanna Searcy, Diane Ross, Gent Gibson, Brenda Harvey and the late Jennifer Harper, Melissa Stewart and a host of loving and beautiful neices, nephews, and friends who will cherish the good times and the many memories made.
