She was one of the best teachers in the world! I remember vividly at Beacon Hill Elementary school her preparing us for the Christmas musical. Mrs. Roche would get so excited teaching the class songs, that she´d stand to her feet while playing the piano. One year I played frosty the snowman for the musical. I was terrified but she encouraged me through to the end. She will be missed, but I´m so thankful God allowed our paths to cross.
With love;

I loved singing with Marilyn in St. Ed's choir. I'll always sing "Mary" like "May-ree" because of her. Marilyn was an encouraging, bright light and will be missed.

I worked with Marilyn for several years in District 163. She was always a bright spot in everyone's day, practicing the golden rule. She was gifted. She was funny. She cared for everyone and always gave 110% in everything she did. She is truly a special spirit. Thank you for all you've contributed to this world. Rest peacefully with our Heavenly Father.

I worked with Marilyn in School District 163. She was beautiful, kind and a wonderful musician. I know she touched the lives of many of her students. She was always so proud to talk about her children and grandchildren. I often think of her as I drive through Park Forest South. I am sure she will always be remembered with love. What a blessing to know Marilyn.

She was an amazing music teacher, she taught me at 21st Century 14 years ago. She helped me with my stage fright and was always supportive. My condolences rest in peace.
