Marilyn K. Schumacher, Nee Liepe, age 97, longtime resident of Elmhurst; beloved Wife of the late Joseph M. Schumacher; loving Mother of Jim and Tom (Kim) Schumacher; cherished Grandmother of Ryan, Sara, Kelsey (fiancé Steve Serneels) and Matthew (Kayla) Schumacher and Great-Grandmother of Jett Schumacher and Chloe Carstens; dear sister of Lorraine (Ken) Krause; fond Aunt of Nancy Whipple and the late Mary Ann Behrens. Marilyn was a beloved friend and neighbor; she will be missed by all who knew her. Her love for her family, her spirit, strength, guidance, grace, beauty and humor lives on in each of the lives she touched. She is a national treasure to all of those who had the honor to meet her. She is loved dearly. Visitation Tuesday, January 14, 2025, 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 South York Road, (at Madison), Elmhurst.
