Marilyn A Tremper, a lifelong Rockland County resident, passed away into the loving arms of Our Lord on January 28th, 2026, at Nyack Hospital at age 96.

Marilyn was born on July 17, 1929, at Nyack Hospital, and was the only child of Claude Armstrong and Jesse Knipe of South Nyack. Marilyn was educated in the Nyack School System having attended Liberty Elementary School and graduating from Nyack High School.

While attending Nyack High School she met her future husband Donald "Mickey" Tremper of Tappan, where they settled and raised their family.

Marilyn was the loving mother of Kathleen Goodyear (Christopher), loving grandmother of Eileen Rabinowitz (Eric) and Elizabeth Goodyear. Marilyn was the great grandmother to Luke, Molly and Amelia Rabinowitz.

She was predeceased by her parents Claude and Jesse Armstrong, her husband Donald "Mickey" and her son Michael. She will be happily reunited with them after many years.

Later in her life, Marilyn had been an active member of the Senior group at Thorpe Village and the Tappan Reformed Church. It was at the Tappan Church where she met Ken Doller, who became her companion for many years. They were happy to travel to Europe and throughout the United States. Marliyn was an avid reader, who loved history and was always acquiring more knowledge on a variety of subjects. She loved to take photos and share all of her experiences with her loving family. Marilyn will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
